YOUTH — THE DRIVING FORCE OF STATE DEVELOPMENT AND MODERN STATISTICS

Under this title, a ceremonial event dedicated to the Youth Day of Tajikistan was held today at the Agency on Statistics under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan.

The event was attended by Zarina Nazarzoda, Deputy Director of the Agency on Statistics under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan; Olimjon Zabirzoda, Chief of Staff of the Youth Union of Tajikistan; as well as employees and active young representatives of the Agency.

The gathering commenced with the National Anthem of the Republic of Tajikistan, after which Deputy Director Zarina Nazarzoda officially opened the event. In her speech, she highlighted the important role of youth in the advancement of society, the development of the state statistical system, and the implementation of the country’s strategic goals. She emphasized that young people today, as a creative and proactive force, make a valuable contribution to the work of government institutions.

The congratulatory message of Jamshed Nurmuhammadzoda, Director of the Agency on Statistics under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, on the occasion of Youth Day of Tajikistan was also delivered to the participants. The message highly praised the contribution of young people to state-building, the strengthening of national independence, and the advancement of the statistical sector, while wishing them further success in their future endeavors.

The event continued with remarks by Olimjon Zabirzoda, Chief of Staff of the Youth Union of Tajikistan. He noted that the state youth policy of the Republic of Tajikistan, under the wise leadership and continuous support of the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, has become one of the priority areas of state policy. It was emphasized that the Leader of the Nation’s constant attention and support have created favorable conditions for education, professional development, intellectual growth, and the active participation of young people in the political, economic, and social life of the country.

Subsequently, several active young employees of the Agency delivered speeches, sharing their views on the opportunities available to youth, the support provided by the state leadership and the Government of the country, and the role of young people in the development of official statistics.

During another part of the event, a number of active and initiative-driven young employees of the Agency were awarded certificates of appreciation from the Agency on Statistics and youth authorities for their exemplary performance, significant contribution to the advancement of the sector, and active participation in public life.

In her closing remarks, Zarina Nazarzoda encouraged young people to demonstrate a strong sense of patriotism, responsibility, commitment to learning, and active involvement in the development of the statistical sector and the progress of independent Tajikistan. She also expressed confidence that the Agency’s youth would continue to take an active part in national events and initiatives organized by state bodies responsible for youth affairs.

The event was held in an atmosphere of sincerity, respect for national values, and appreciation of the important role of youth in the development of the state and society.
