Within the framework of the international seminar-consultation on exchanging experience in improving the organizational structure and management of state statistical bodies, held in Warsaw, a meeting took place on the first day of the event between the First Deputy Director of the Agency on Statistics under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Aso Nurullo Asvat, and the President of Statistics of the Republic of Poland, Mr. Marek Wolań.
During the meeting, the parties discussed issues related to expanding mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of official statistics and continuing the exchange of experience. It was emphasized that the development of bilateral cooperation could play an important role in improving the quality of statistical data, enhancing the management system, and aligning statistical processes with international standards.
At the same time, priority areas of cooperation were reviewed, including staff experience exchange, organization of in-person and virtual seminars-consultations on statistical accounting in socio-economic sectors, analysis of digital processes, population census activities, improvement of the national accounts system, and development of statistical registers.
The parties expressed their readiness to further strengthen the fruitful cooperation between the statistical authorities of the two countries and to create a solid foundation for implementing joint initiatives aimed at the development of official statistics.
