INCREASE IN THE VOLUME OF PAID SERVICES

During the first eight months of the current year, the volume of paid services in the republic amounted to 19 billion 144.1 million somoni, which is 16.8% more (in comparable prices) than the same period last year. Of this amount, 77.2% or 13.8 billion somoni accounted for paid services provided to the population.

During this period, the volume of services per capita in Dushanbe was significantly higher than in other regions of the country — 5.2 times the national average.

The volume of paid services by type for January – August 2025 is as follows:

• Household services – 4.5 billion somoni or 124.1%;
• Passenger transport – 2.1 billion somoni or 106.1%;
• Telecommunications – 3.3 billion somoni or 104.7%;
• Education – 1.5 billion somoni or 107.7%;
• Medical services – 832.2 million somoni or 112.5%;
• Utility services – 147 million somoni or 109.3%;
• Housing maintenance – 9.6 million somoni or 110.2%;
• Legal services – 159.5 million somoni or 1.6 times more;
• Banking services – 2.8 billion somoni or 1.8 times more;
• Other paid services – 3.5 billion somoni or 109.9% compared to the same period of the previous year.
