INCREASE IN INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTION VOLUMES IN JANUARY OF THE CURRENT YEAR

In January 2024, industrial enterprises together with private entrepreneurs produced products worth 3 billion 631.3 million somoni, which is 6.0 percent more than in January 2023 (in comparative prices).

The main factor in the pace of development of the industrial sector occurred mainly due to an increase in production volumes in the mining industry – 16.4 percent, manufacturing industry – 7.0 percent, water supply, treatment, waste processing and secondary products – 8.2 percent.
