Decline in vodka production in Tajikistan: 9.3 thousand decaliters in the first quarter

In January–March 2026, the production of vodka and liqueur products in the Republic of Tajikistan amounted to 9.3 thousand decaliters (or 93 thousand liters).

This figure represents 82.4 percent compared to the same period last year, indicating a decline in production volumes.

It should be noted that in January–March 2025, the production volume of vodka and liqueur products was 11.2 thousand decaliters. Thus, a decrease of 1.9 thousand decaliters (or 19.0 thousand liters) was recorded during the reporting period.

Analysis suggests that the decline in production of this type of product may be associated with several factors, including changes in market demand, government regulation aimed at reducing alcohol consumption, and possible restructuring or modernization of production processes.
