182 TOURISM COMPANIES OPERATE IN TAJIKISTAN

During the period January–June 2025, a total of 182 registered tourism companies operated across the country.
In this period, 219 hotels (including privately owned ones) were in operation, among them:

• 7 five-star hotels,
• 27 four-star hotels,
• 14 three-star hotels,
• 2 two-star hotels,
• 7 one-star hotels,
• 162 hotels without a star rating.

Additionally, there were:

• 56 hostels and motels,
• 57 sanatoriums,
• 4 children’s health camps,
• 6 medical and wellness centers,
• 10 holiday homes,
• 1 boarding house and camping site,
• 5 tourist and recreational bases.

The average number of employees in the service sector was 4,046 people, and the total income from services during this period amounted to 168.2 million somoni.
