From May 19 to 21, 2026, an international seminar-consultation on the exchange of experience in improving the organizational structure and management of state statistical bodies was held in Warsaw.
The seminar was attended by the official delegation of the Agency on Statistics under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan led by the First Deputy Director of the Agency, Aso Nurullo Asvat, as well as staff members of the Agency on Statistics and representatives of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The event was organized with the aim of studying and applying the advanced experience of the Republic of Poland in restructuring, improving the management system of statistical bodies, adapting the activities of state statistical agencies to modern requirements, expanding the use of information and innovative technologies, as well as improving the quality and accessibility of statistical data.
The main objective of the seminar-consultation was to familiarize participants with the experience of the Republic of Poland in organizing the management structure and operations of statistical bodies, studying mechanisms for improving the registration system of enterprises and organizations, and implementing modern management methods and strategic planning.
Within the framework of the event, participants discussed issues related to the transition to international standards in the field of official statistics, effective use of existing resources, digitalization of statistical processes, introduction of modern information technologies, and strengthening the integration of the national statistical system into international practice.
It should be emphasized that this study visit for experience exchange is considered one of the key activities within the framework of the Project “Modernization of the National Statistical System of the Republic of Tajikistan” and provides a favorable basis for improving the management system of statistical authorities.
