As a result of effective measures and targeted land use, in 2025 the total volume of agricultural production in Tajikistan reached 84 billion 653.8 million somoni. The growth rate, calculated at comparable prices, was 9.5 percent.
Economic indicators of the country’s agricultural sector show a steady increase in total agricultural output.
In 2025, growth rates in crop production and livestock farming amounted to 9.9% (56 billion 588.0 million somoni) and 8.5% (28 billion 65.8 million somoni), respectively.
During this period, collective farms accounted for 12.5% of total agricultural output, while dehkan (private farmer) farms accounted for 34.7%.
Household farms constituted the largest share of total agricultural production — 52.8%. This indicator by region was as follows: 65.5% in the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region, 39.4% in Sughd region, 59.5% in Khatlon region, and 55.3% in the districts of republican subordination.
