Signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Statistical Authorities of Tajikistan and Turkey

Today, in Ankara, Turkey, within the framework of a training seminar on the topic “Agricultural Statistics,” organized for specialists in the field of statistics, a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation was signed between the Agency on Statistics under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Turkish Statistical Institute.

Within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding, partnership cooperation between the Agency on Statistics under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Turkish Statistical Institute is envisaged, aimed at advancing the field of statistics through the provision of accurate and reliable data for the socio-economic development of both countries, as well as achieving further deepening of mutually beneficial cooperation between the parties for comprehensive development.

The parties expressed that in the future, mutual support in enhancing experience and improving the professional qualifications of personnel in the field of statistics will be expanded, including the organization of seminars and training sessions for both sides to increase the level of practical expertise of staff in the development and implementation of future plans.
