MILK AND EGG PRODUCTION IN TAJIKISTAN INCREASED

From January to September 2026, milk and egg production in the Republic of Tajikistan increased compared with the same period last year.

According to statistical data, a total of 770,436 tonnes of milk was produced across all categories of farms during this period, representing an increase of 4.2% compared with the same period in 2025.

Milk production increased by 1.2% in the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region, 13.0% in Sughd Region, and 0.6% in the cities and districts under republican subordination.

Meanwhile, a total of 1.0638 billion eggs were produced in the country during the reporting period, an increase of 3.0% compared with January–September of the previous year.

By region, egg production increased by 8.7% in Khatlon Region, 5.1% in the cities and districts under republican subordination, 2.2% in the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region, and 1.3% in Sughd Region.
