THE MAIN DEPARTMENT OF THE AGENCY ON STATISTICS IN SUGHD REGION CELEBRATED THE STATE INDEPENDENCE DAY

On September 9, in honor of the 34th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan, a solemn gathering was held at the Main Department of the Agency on Statistics under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan. The event was attended by the Director of the Agency on Statistics under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Jamshed Nurmahmadzoda, along with the leadership and staff of the Main Department.

The festive event began with the performance of the National Anthem of the Republic of Tajikistan.

In his congratulatory speech, Director of the Agency Jamshed Nurmahmadzoda referred to state independence as the greatest and most sacred national asset — a symbol of pride, honor, and patriotism, and the foundation of happiness and well-being for the citizens of the country. He warmly congratulated all employees of the statistical bodies in Sughd region on this significant occasion.

It was emphasized that this blessed day — the Day of Independence and Freedom — as well as the most important achievements of this era, namely peace, political stability, and national unity, were not achieved easily. These accomplishments became possible thanks to the tireless efforts, dedicated labor, and self-sacrifice of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon.

Later, the Head of the Main Department of Statistics in the region, Hakimbek Nakhhatzoda, congratulated the attendees on the anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan and delivered his congratulatory message.

Continuing the event, the Director of the Agency, Jamshed Nurmahmadzoda, presented a number of regional statistical staff with sectoral awards and Certificates of Honor for their outstanding performance and in celebration of the 34th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.
