The Agency on the statistics has held press conference with representatives of mass media following the results in first half of 2014

 On July 25, 2014 in the national press center there was a press conference with the representatives of the media. At a press conference attended by 12 journalists of newspapers , radio and television , including the : «Asia – plus», «Charkhi Gardun», «Jumhuriyat», «Tajikistan», «Sadoi mardum», «Vecherny Dushanbe», «Khovar», «Radio Tajikistan», «Radio Ozodi» TV "Djahonnamo", "Bahoriston" and others.
For journalists were provided press releases on the socio- economic situation of the Republic of Tajikistan and activities of the Agency on statistics of Tajikistan in first half of 2014.

The press conference was opened by the Director of the Agency for Statistics G.K. Hasanova, who presented the results of the activities of the Agency in first half of 2014.

The discussion was attended by the Deputy Directors of the Agency Sh.Shokirov, A.Asoev and K.Norov , the heads of departments and divisions of the central office , the main computing center of the Agency.

The following the questions by Media representatives been answered:

- the level of poverty in 2013, extreme poverty in the Republic of Tajikistan; as well as the methodology for calculating the level of poverty, comparative data, etc.
-survey of household budgets
-humanitarian aid to the republic by country and volume
-the import of products by country
-the republic s population under 18 years
-remittances by migrants living abroad
-the number household with cars
-of potato production in 2013, of crop area of potato in 2014, etc.

The media representatives were satisfied with the answers.
